The Franklin Family II KC Photography, Augusta Georgia Photographer
I haven't blogged much lately, I've been SO busy! Between end of school activities, baseball, swim team, & trying to squeeze in time to work, it seems almost impossible to find extra time to do anything. Excuses, excuses.. I know. Anyways.. I've been working hard on some new techniques & made the swap from Paintshop Pro to Photoshop. This has taken a lot of work & time but I'm SO excited for KCP's future. I can already tell a huge improvement in my work and I'm not ashamed to say so. So, I wanted to show off a recent session of these beautiful children..
These kids are amazing!
To book a session with KCP contact me at 706-495-8485 or via email/web

A beautiful new baby sister II KC Photography, Augusta Georgia
Had such a great time with this beautiful family during their newborn lifestyle session! Ian & Caden were such big helpers and the most handsome big brothers. Can't wait to see them again! (How adorable is this beautiful baby girl?!?)

Happy Birthday Ileana Elizabeth II KC Photography, Augusta Georgia Photographer
Has it really been THREE years since I first held you?? It seems like yesterday that I wrapped your mommy's belly in plaster to mold the memory of you inside her forever. These three years have blown by & I enjoy every minute I get to spend with you [even when you dump the entire toy box out and laugh at me when I say to pick it up.] You are beautiful, silly, funny, silly, loud, silly, sweet, silly, & so so silly. Aunt Kiki loves you to pieces!

My [big] little slugger II KC Photography, Augusta Georgia Photographer
There's many things I've always loved.. obviously my family, friends, photography, embroidery, sweet tea, the beach, my nightly tv shows, college football season [Go Dawgs!], kit kats... & the list could go on and on...
But I never knew how much I could love watching a ball enter a glove, the swing of a bat, or the 5 seconds of anxiety in a steal. The joy in watching your child hit a grand slam the last play of the game or catching a ball way out of his reach with two outs on the board is a feeling that is irreplaceable. I am more than proud of my "little" slugger who is not so little anymore [11 years old in 12 days!!]
It's so hard to believe 6 short years ago this same boy was swinging a bat at a tee and struggling to carry a bat bag twice his size.

Meet Anna & Jon. They are the sweetest couple! They are patiently waiting the arrival of baby Eli this March before Jon leaves for Army training this summer. I can't wait to meet their precious little boy.

God works miracles II KC Photography, Augusta Georgia Photographer
Why do horrible things happen to great people? The question everyone wishes they had an answer to. As hard as it is to believe at the time, God has a plan for every one of us.
Lauren & Joe tried for years to get pregnant. After tons of tears & money spent, their wish was finally granted. I was so honored to get to capture their "I do" and now Lauren's first baby bump. Due to complications, Lauren gave birth to baby Colton at just 7 months gestation. After a long hard fight, Colton went to be with the Lord at only one month old. He never left the NICU. After all it took to get pregnant Lauren & Joe lost their first child. But there is light at the end of the tunnel...
I found out Lauren was pregnant again on November 6th, 2013. I immediately cried from the joy I felt for her after watching her go through so much pain. Ladies & Gents.. the new baby bump...
Let me add -- ITS A GIRL -- little Miss Coblie :)
My sister [in law] gave birth to a still born about 6 years ago. She was devastated. It was a very tramatic experience that, at the time, I never thought her nor my brother would ever get over. I recently asked her if she was often sad over the loss of her first child. She told me that she thinks of her often and of course it is a sad memory but then she looks at her daughter Joplin [born one year later] and couldn't imagine life without her in it. Had Savannah lived on Earth with us, Joplin wouldn't be here today. I can't even fathom life with out my Joplin. It clicked for me in that moment. Why do bad things happen to good people? Because God has a plan. As hard as it may be to believe that in times of sadness, he has one. Colton was sent to be with the Lord because God had a plan for Colbie. Just as Savannah was sent to be with the Lord because God had a plan for Joplin. And hey, how lucky are they to have an older sibling as a guardian angel?
I can not wait to follow Colbie's journey from newborn to first year sessions. I only pray that once she is here safe and sound that Lauren & Joe will find peace the way that my sister did. Colbie truly is a miracle from God and I can NOT wait to meet her!

Updates II Augusta Georgia, Photographer
I'm a little behind on updating... ok a lot behind. Between both of my businesses, I was SLAMMED through Christmas time. So, I made a big decision for the new year and I am cutting way back in my other business so I can focus soley on photography.
With that being said I'm SO excited for the changes I have made for the new year. I have several weddings & births coming up and I can NOT wait!
So here's some recent work of mine to check out :)
